Question about the user guide

Hi ,
I am new to OpenBravo .
- Correct me if i am wrong .
- i understood that " OpenBravo 3 " is a project with 2 editions
1- OpenBravo Commerce Suite .
2- OpenBravo business suite .

Each one of the above mentioned has an edition
1- EnterPrise .
2- Professional .

2nd Point :-
----------------
- this user guide http://wiki.openbravo.com/wiki/User_Guide says it's for " Professional Edition " ,
is it for " Commerce " or " Business " suite ?

Re: Question about the user guide

Hi, some clarifications to your questions.

We offer:

1) Openbravo Business Suite: this is our former Openbravo ERP solution. An horizontal ERP, CRM and BI functionality for across industries. Read more information here: http://www.openbravo.com/other-industries/
2) Openbravo Commerce Suite: this is a verticalization of the Openbravo Business Suite for the Retail industry, so it includes all available functionality in the Openbravo Business Suite plus specific retail functionality, such as the Openbravo Web POS. Retail is today our focus, so the whole website is focused there.

Both are distributed under two different commercial editions:
1) Enterprise Edition, which allows On Premise or Cloud deployment
2) Professional Edition, only on premise

For the Commerce Suite for example, you can read about our two editions here: http://www.openbravo.com/retailers/edit ... d-pricing/

In regards to our wiki, it is a mistake. When it says "Openbravo 3 Professional Edition", it should say "for Enterprise or Professional Editions", meaning the two I've mentioned before. Will talk internally to fix it.

Hope it helps,
